David Graff

David's experience in development, project management, construction, brokerage, acquisition and disposition, facility management, and architecture extends across the commercial, healthcare, life sciences, industrial/manufacturing, sports & entertainment, education, faith based, and residential sectors. At the Transwestern Chicago office, David leads a team of project managers and project executives to support our diverse clientele, which includes businesses from life sciences, healthcare, industrial/manufacturing, commercial, education, and other industries. His expertise includes all aspects of ground-up development, adaptive reuse, and interior construction. David is also a member of the Transwestern National Project Manager Steering Committee.

During his 44-year career in real estate, David has completed more than $1.8 billion worth of development, redevelopment, tenant improvement, and acquisition and disposition projects. David has overseen more than 80 life science projects nationally and globally. Life science projects include research and development (R&D), incubator, clean room, manufacturing and decommissioning. David and his team have been responsible for developing hospitals, medical office buildings, and ambulatory care facilities. Under David's direction, the team actively develops industrial buildings and warehouses, processing and distribution centers in multiple states. Several of David's projects include Astellas Pharmaceutical’s Global Capacity Centers (GCCs) in India and Poland, a 420,000-square-foot headquarters and conversion to a multi-tenant building for Medline Industries, many ground-up industrial and manufacturing facilities, a 66-building roll-out of senior housing developments in eight states, and multiple education and cultural developments.

David earned a Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
