Mariela Cruz

Mariela Cruz is a Brokerage Coordinator within Transwestern’s Healthcare Advisory Services and Life Sciences team in Houston. She supports a high-performing team that delivers strategic real estate solutions for healthcare providers, life science organizations, and institutional owners across the region.

In her role, Mariela provides seamless execution across all aspects of leasing and client services. She manages critical coordination functions, including marketing support, document preparation, transaction workflows, and client communications, to help drive the team's success across a diverse healthcare and life sciences portfolio.

In her previous roles, she has worked as an Operational Coordinator for a multifamily property, where she managed property listings, ran leasing comps, planned resident events, and developed relationships with vendors to ensure the smooth running of on-site projects. She also served as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for Orange Theory Fitness, where she built expertise in targeted campaigns, content development, and client engagement.

Mariela holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Houston – Downtown. Committed to community service, she volunteers with Catholic Charities USA and contributes as a writer/blogger to the American Red Cross. She is bilingual (English/Spanish).
